I added black beans to mine though instead of the taco meat. 1 cup macadamia (or cashew) nuts, soaked in water for 2-8 hours, 11-12 tbsp water (use as needed to achieve desired consistency), fine grain sea salt, to taste (I used just over 1/4 tsp), scant 1/4 tsp fine grain sea salt, or to taste. I just tried this salad, minus the nut cream because I didn’t have those nuts on hand, and it was so delicious. I just made these. We laughed so hard at each other. Additional bonus: my two kids – who are inherently suspicious of any “green stuff” – ended up finishing, and, dare I say, liking it! I FREAKIN love you!
